Dr Peter Aslan is one of Australia’s most experienced laparoscopic and robotic urological surgeons, with considerable expertise in the treatment of kidney cancers and related conditions.
He also performs a very high volume of prostate cancer surgery and uses cutting-edge laser technologies for the treatment of kidney stones and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). In particular, he performs the HOLEP procedure, which is regarded as the best treatment for BPH.
Dr Aslan graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his urology training in Australia. He then completed sub-specialised urological Fellowship training at Duke University, USA.

Dr Aslan is also an inaugural member, and serves on the board of Kidney Cancer Australia. He is also on the subcommittee of the (ANZUP) Australian & New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group and is the Urologist adviser for the Sydney Women’s Endosurgery Centre.
